Dear Henryk and Eloise,

You've probably figured out by now that your mum has a thing for digging deep into research. I've never been one to just accept what the experts tell us without asking questions. And yes, I know this will probably drive you crazy as you get older.

What started as curiosity became something more important to me: a collection of discoveries about what it truly means to be human in a world that seems to be pulling us further away from ourselves each year. I've watched technology reshape how we connect, how we think, even how we feel. While there's magic in progress, I've become increasingly protective of the parts of us that have always mattered most.

This journal is my way of leaving breadcrumbs back to our "humanity". It's filled with the research adventures that changed how I understood myself, my relationships, and what our minds and bodies actually need to thrive. Some of it might surprise you. Some of it might confirm what you've always felt. Some of if you'll know because I've already told you, but hey - it's good to have it written down too. Because you're likely to inherit your dad's flakey memory 😂. And hopefully his wonderful optimism too.

I started collecting these insights before you were event born, updating them as I learned more. By the time you're reading this I'm sure the world will likely be even more digital, even more disconnected from the rhythms and wisdom that carried humans through thousands of years. I wanted to make sure you'd have a map back to the essential parts of being a living, breathing, thriving human-being.

These aren't rules or demands from your mother. They're discoveries I've made about what helps us stay grounded, connected, and genuinely fulfilled. Take what serves you, question what doesn't, and always remember that beneath all the noise of the modern world, your human heart knows more than any algorithm ever will.

With all my love and hope that this helps you find your way back to yourselves whenever you need it,

Mum (love you infinity + 10)

xx
